A huge tree fell on the road near National Highway 369E Byakodu, which connects Kollur National Highway 766C to Sigandur, causing traffic disruption for some time and creating a situation where motorists were in distress. The tree was immediately removed with the help of villagers..
On the same route, near Ganapodi, a tree has fallen onto the road and is in a dangerous condition, and villagers have demanded that the tree be cleared immediately.
Due to heavy rains, the water level in the Sharavathi River has risen, causing traffic congestion throughout the day at the Holebagilu launch site. Water has entered the fields of farmers in the national and low-lying areas.
